Modify a Login for an Existing Server Connection Definition
You modify a login for an existing Server Connection Definition using the Login Dialog. This includes changing passwords.
To modify a login
1. In the Instance Explorer, open the Server Connection Definitions folder, open the Server Connection Definition you want to modify, and open the Logins folder.
2. Right-click on the login node you want to modify and select Modify on the context menu.
The Modify Login dialog opens.
3. Change the user name, if desired.
4. Change and confirm the password, if desired.
5. Choose whether the login information should be kept private.
6. Click OK to save your changes.
