Set the First <n> Rows to Select in the Instance Explorer
You can set the number of rows to select when a query executes. You change this setting on the Environment page of the Options dialog—see Environment Options (Options Dialog).
If you set this option to 0, all table rows will be selected. If the table is very large, it could take a long time to display all the data.
To set the number of rows to select
1. Click Home, Options to open the Options dialog.
2. Click the triangle at the left of the Environment heading and then click the General heading.
3. Set the default number of table rows to select with the “SELECT FIRST <N>” option.
4. Click OK.
The change takes effect immediately.
