Create a New Connection for an Existing Server Connection Definition
You create a new connection for an existing Server Connection Definition using the New Connection dialog (see Connection Dialog).
To create a new connection
1. In the Instance Explorer, open the Server Connection Definitions folder, and open the Server Connection Definition you want to modify.
2. Right-click on the Connection Data folder and select New Connection Data on the context menu.
The New Connection dialog opens.
3. Specify a remote node.
4. Select a communications protocol.
5. Specify a listen address port.
6. Choose whether the connection information should be kept private.
7. Click OK to save your changes.
