DBMS Trace Options Dialog
You can set trace options in the DBMS Trace Options dialog. This dialog contains the following pages:
General
Output Log

General Page Options
This page contains the following fields:
DBMS Tracing
Lets you select one of the following trace options:
OFF
Turns off tracing for the database
ON - All databases in the installation
Turns on tracing for all databases in the selected installation
ON - Only for database X
Turns on tracing for the database you select from the dropdown
ON - Except for database X
Turns on tracing for all databases except the database you select from the dropdown
Query Plan / Add QEP
Enables query tracing and provides query execution plans for queries. If tracing is enabled for a single database, then this does not change the scope of tracing; it simply turns on QEP output.
Style
Specifies the style: SEGMENTED, TREE, CONCISE, OFF
Trace file location
Specifies the location to create the trace file
BLOB segments
Sets the BLOB segment size
Output Log Page Options
The Output Log page displays the output of the process based on the options you have selected on the General page.
