Specify Output Format for Query Results
You may specify the immediate output format for query results on the Query menu tab (see Query Tab). For more information about default output format, see Specify Default Output Format and Location for Query Results.
To specify output format for query results
1. Click the Query menu tab (see Query Tab).
2. In the Result Output section, select one of the following output options:
Grid
Displays the query results in the grid
Text
Displays the query results in text format
File
Sends the query results to a file
Spreadsheet
(Windows only) Sends the query results to a CSV-formatted file that opens in the program associated with .CSV files
When you click Execute (see Execute a Query), query results will be directed to the selected option.
