ODBC Gateway
The ODBC gateway is accessed through the host ODBC driver(s). The gateway is responsible for mapping the host ODBC SQL data types into the equivalent OpenSQL data types.
The ODBC gateway supports most of the native ODBC data types by mapping them into the equivalent OPEN SQL data types.
The mapping consists of mapping the client data type to an equivalent OPEN SQL data type:
