Special Considerations for Microsoft SQL Server
If a Microsoft SQL Server user is a database owner or a user with Microsoft SQL Server System Administrator privileges, then Microsoft SQL Server treats that user ID as if it is the user ID dbo. With previous versions of the Microsoft SQL Server Gateway, the owner of the gateway catalogs could have been dbo, if the ingres user ID was a Microsoft SQL Server Database Owner (dbo). The Enterprise Access Microsoft SQL Server Gateway will now force the Gateway catalog owner to be ingres.
If the catalogs had been previously built with a gateway catalog owner of dbo, the catalogs will be migrated to having an owner of ingres by the Enterprise Access Microsoft SQL Server Gateway Catalog Build utility, iigwcatmss.exe. However, no user tables will be migrated from owner dbo to owner ingres by the iigwcatmss.exe utility.
