Translating Ingres Functions to Host Functions
The gateways support translations of most Ingres scalar functions into native scalar functions. The scalar functions can also be nested. The tables in this appendix document the translations of Ingres scalar functions to scalar functions for each gateway.
Users can obtain scalar function information at runtime from the gateway by querying the gateway system catalog "iigwscalars."
