Installation Options for UNIX
Enterprise Access is packaged with the same installer that is used to install Ingres. However, this ingres.tar file contains only Enterprise Access and the Ingres client components, not the full Ingres release.
Enterprise Access for UNIX can be installed into any of the following installations:
• A fresh (new) installation
• An installation containing a prior Enterprise Access standalone version
• A supported installation
