Dynamic Parameters
Dynamic parameters have the following restrictions:
• Ingres allows dynamic parameters to be used in nearly every part of a query.
• Enterprise Access-supported host DBMSs do not allow dynamic parameters to be specified in the result_list.
• Enterprise Access-supported host DBMSs do not allow dynamic parameters to be specified as the table or view name in a select, update, delete, or insert statement.
