Post-Installation Configuration (UNIX)
The following post-installation configuration steps apply to both existing and new installations.
• Use ingstart and ingstop to control the gateways
• Create a gateway alias
• Build the gateway catalogs
• Add an automatic startup command
• Allow access on systems using shadow passwords
• Establish user access to tools and databases
• Use Terminal Monitor to access the gateways
