iichkemail--Verify Email Setup
During installation (or after installation using the iisetres command), you can enable email notification so Actian can notify you when your license is about to expire. The iichkemail utility verifies that the mail server and port details entered are correct by attempting to send an email.
This command has the following format:
iichkemail [-c] [-e] [-f] [-q] [-s subject] [-b body] [-n mailsender] [server] [port] [email]
-c
Gets server and port details from config.dat. If -c is specified, server and port must not be specified.
-e
Gets email from config.dat. If -e is specified, email must not be specified.
-f
Gets mailsender (email address of sender) from config.dat. If -f is specified, -n must not be specified.
-q
Operates in quiet mode.
-s subject
Uses subject as the subject of the sent email. If not specified, a default subject is used.
-b body
Uses body as the content of the sent email. If not specified, default content is used.
-n mailsender
Uses mailsender as the email address of the sender.
server
Specifies the email server name. Cannot be specified if -c is specified.
port
Specifies the port used by the email server. Cannot be specified if -c is specified.
email
