How You Install Ingres
If you are installing Ingres for the first time, you should be familiar with the Installation Considerations (see
Understanding Installation Considerations) before installing the software.
The process for installing Ingres in any operating system environment is as follows:
1. Verify that your hardware and software meet the Ingres requirements, as documented in the Readme for your platform.
3. Install the software.
