In UNIX environments, II_APP_NO_SIG_HANDLE will disable Ingres from setting SIGNAL handlers in a user application. This variable should be set in the operating system environment to any value if the application relies on all SIGNALs received by it. By default, when a user application connects to a database, Ingres sets up SIGNAL handlers.
