View Database Information with accessdb
The accessdb utility can be used to view information about all databases in an Ingres installation. You must be a privileged user to use accessdb.
To view database information with accessdb
1. Issue this command at the operating system prompt:
accessdb
The accessdb forms-based utility starts.
2. Select one of the following:
To view:
Select:
Databases, their owners, and type
Databases
Users and their permissions
Users and then select the user
Locations and their directories
Locations, with location uses shown by selecting the location
Databases using a particular location
Databases and then Extend for the selected database
3. After viewing the information, select End.
4. Select Quit.
The accessdb utility closes.
