View Database Information with catalogdb
The catalogdb utility can be used to view information about databases that you own. Any user can execute catalogdb.
To view database information with catalogdb
1. Issue this command at the operating system prompt:
catalogdb
The catalogdb forms-based utility starts.
2. Select one of the following:
To view:
Select:
Databases that you own, their owner, and type
Databases
Locations and their directories
Locations
Databases and their extended locations
Databases and then Extend for the selected database
Access status and authorized users for a database
Databases and then Access for the selected database
Databases that you own, databases to which you have access, and your permissions
Users
3. After viewing the information, select End.
4. Select Quit.
The catalogdb utility closes.
