The II_DESTROY_TXLOG parameter defines whether the transaction log file is destroyed and recreated during an update of Ingres.
This parameter has the following options:
YES
Destroy and recreate the transaction log file during an update.
NO
(Default) Do not destroy and recreate the transaction log file during an update.
