Upgrading from a Previous Release with a “SYSV” Service Script
If you are upgrading from an earlier release you may have a a “SYSV” service script, usually /etc/init.d/ingresXX, where XX is the instance ID. You may want to keep this service script, but if you choose to install a systemd service, we recommend you first remove the SYSV one using the command mkrc -r ingres, and then run mksystemd as described previously.
