zdump Command--Display Time Zone Table Files
Permission required: Access to the directory where the utility is located.
The zdump utility displays the time zone table files. You can check the time zone table currently in effect or a newly created one.
The display shows the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) offset for the time zone. For those timelines adjusted for Daylight Savings Time (DST), it gives each date that the GMT offset changed.
The zdump command has the following format:
zdump [-v] [--version] pathname/filename
‑v
Displays additional run-time information.
‑‑version
Displays version ID.
pathname/filename
Specifies the path and name of a new time zone table.
