II_PRINTSCREEN_FILE is used with the printscreen function. It specifies a default file name for the output file of the printscreen function. This environment variable/logical is usually defined locally by the individual user. If this environment variable/logical is set and no file name is sent to the printscreen function, no prompt is given and this file name is used. If not set, the user is prompted for a file name. If the file name “printer” is specified for II_PRINTSCREEN_FILE, the screen depiction is sent directly to the line printer.
