• When a database for which backups were uploaded to backup service is deleted, and a database with the same name is created in the same Ingres installation, the checkpoint of the new database cannot be uploaded.

• DataCloud Backup does not support the rollover of checkpoint sequence numbering (that is, when a database has reached the maximum checkpoint sequence number 9999, and then the sequence numbering restarts at 1). When the sequence numbering restarts at 1, DataCloud Backup will reject new checkpoints with reused sequence numbers because existing checkpoints cannot be overwritten. This limitation will be addressed in the future.

• DataCloud Backup does not support Ingres cluster installations.
