What Files Are Backed Up to the Cloud?
DataCloud Backup uploads the following files from your Ingres instance:
• Database level files: Checkpoints and associated files, journal files
• Installation level configuration files: Configuration parameters (config.dat), environment variables (symbol.tbl), checkpoint template (cktmpl.def), and X100 configuration (vectorwise.conf)
• X100 database level configuration files (if any): vectorwise.conf
The term “backup files” or “backups” in this guide can mean any of these files.
