Managing Agents
 
Action
Description
Ping
Sends a ping request to the Agent, such as “Everything OK?”
Request Log
Sends a request to the Agent to upload its current application log to the Integration Manager interface
View Log
A link to the Agent application log, assuming it was previously uploaded
Update Settings
Sends updated connection/configuration information to the Agent matching what Integration Manager expects
Update License
Sends updated licensing information to the Agent.
Note:  You cannot manually place an Agent license file; it must be retrieved through the Integration Manager interface.
Update Worker
Sends a command to the Agent to download and install the latest Worker library and then restart
Update Engine
Sends a command to the Agent to download and install the latest DataConnect Engine and then restart
Deactivate
Deactivates the Agent and closes the Job queue for this Agent. Typically used when you want to temporarily disable remote Jobs at that location.
Deregister
Sends a shutdown command to the Agent and deletes its configuration. Typically used when you want to permanently disable remote Jobs at that location.
