Improved Connection Profile Assistant
The Connection Profile Assistant now has a more consistent design and behavior.
When you click the Edit button to complete a profile definition, a validation check is no longer performed.
On the Select the Database page, if only one item is listed, it is selected by default. If there are two or more items, none is selected. Your selection is now remembered if you change pages with the Next or Previous buttons.
Terminology used on the DBMS Location page was changed for clarification when choosing local databases in installations other than the one OpenROAD is installed in:
Previous Terms
New Terms
Local Machine
Local Installation
Remote Host
Virtual Node
For example, if OpenROAD is using the installation II on the local machine but you want to connect to a database in installation IJ, whether remote or local, you would connect using the Virtual Node option.
