Phase 1: Prepare for the Upgrade
We recommend the following steps to prepare for an upgrade:
1. Ensure an OpenROAD 2006 (5.0) test environment exists.
2. Ensure an OpenROAD 2006 (5.0) development environment exists.
3. Create a 5.1 test environment.
4. Create a 5.1 development environment.
5. Build and test your applications under OpenROAD 2006 (5.0).
