Summary of the OpenROAD 3.5 Upgrade Process
The upgrade process consists of the following basic phases. Each phase is described in detail in the remaining sections of this chapter.
• Phase 1: Prepare for the upgrade. Freeze the code line (apart from emergency fixes) as a final step.
• Phase 2: Convert the applications, including resolving known issues.
• Phase 3: Conduct acceptance testing.
• Phase 4: Go live. Unfreeze the code line.
