Summary of the OpenROAD 5.1 to 6.2 Upgrade Process
The upgrade process consists of the following basic phases:
• Phase 1: Prepare for the upgrade, including any special preparations needed to upgrade to a UTF8/Unicode environment.
• Phase 2: Convert the applications, make changes needed for UTF8/Unicode if planning to run in that environment, and resolve any unexpected issues.
• Phase 3: Conduct acceptance testing.
• Phase 4: Go live.
