Upgrading from Release 3.5
To upgrade from OpenROAD 3.5, you must set up a separate environment for OpenROAD 6.2. You must consider the following:
• Migration of 4GL applications
• Migration of 3GL libraries
• Whether the 4GL applications need to work in a UTF8/Unicode environment
• Differences between the Ingres version used by OpenROAD 3.5 and OpenROAD 6.2.
