How a Table Editor Frame Is Used
After you create and save the frame, it can be run directly, called from other frames, or exported into other applications, and all the built-in functions will work.
Table Editor Functions
Table Editor frames provide standard File menu commands for adding a new record, opening a set of existing records, stepping through the set in both directions, saving changes to the record, and deleting the record. The tabular display can be sorted (by clicking the column headers), and resized as a whole and column by column.
Table Editor Toolbar
A toolbar consists of a set of iconized items from which the user makes a selection by clicking the mouse pointer on it. Toolbar items typically consist of buttons that provide shortcuts for frequently used menu commands or for easy access to other features or frames.
The built-in toolbar of the text editor frame has the following segments:
The first segment contains buttons for the Clear and Open commands on the File menu.
The second segment contains a button group for Add, Delete, and Edit on the File menu.
