If you want to use Enterprise Access for Microsoft SQL Server as the application repository in a UTF-8 or double-byte environment, you must use the Unicode extended system catalog.

You can create Unicode extended system catalogs through the new "-w" flag of the command line tool iigwcatmss. For more information about the iigwcatmss utility, see "Gateway Catalog Build Utility" in the Enterprise Access 3.0 Administrator Guide.
