Summary of the OpenROAD 3.5 Migration Process
The migration process consists of the following basic phases. Each phase is described in detail in the remaining sections of this chapter.
Phase 1: Prepare for the migration. Freeze the code line (apart from emergency fixes) as a final step.
Phase 2: Convert the applications, including resolving known issues.
Phase 3: Conduct acceptance testing.
Phase 4: Go live. Unfreeze the code line.
