ScalarField Class
The ScalarField class represents a field that is typically associated with a single, simple variable. For example, a SliderField object is represented by an integer value in the 4GL code, whereas an EntryField object can be of many different data types. Some ScalarField objects can be associated with the special system classes, BitmapObject and StringObject, which behave in many ways like simple variables.
