When you run the frame, an empty entry field of type date appears. Any valid date, such as “1/30/06” may be entered and appears as shown when you press Enter:

You can modify the display format through the Property Inspector using date format templates. The field accepts only valid dates. For more information, see Property Inspector (see Property Inspector).
