A modal function was added to the Stat Library, already distributed with OpenROAD Development as stat.pkg. The modal function identifies the element or elements of a dataset that repeats most frequently, and more frequently than another element of the dataset. This function supplements existing functions for determining central tendency, AVERAGE (arithmetic mean) and MEDIAN, and is the only function that supports non-numeric datasets.
