Upgrading from Release 4.0 or 4.1
To upgrade from OpenROAD 4.0, you must set up a separate environment for OpenROAD 6.2. You must consider the following:
• Migration of 4GL applications
• Migration of 3GL libraries
• Whether the 4GL applications need to work in a UTF8/Unicode environment
• Migration of OpenROAD eClient applications
• Migration of OpenROAD Server applications
• Differences between the Ingres version used by OpenROAD 4.0 or 4.1 and OpenROAD 6.2
