Test the Loadnrun Client or Server
Assuming that all options were selected during installation, Loadnrun 6.2 installs the following shortcuts under the Windows Start menu, All Programs, Actian Loadnrun 6.2:
Launcher
Demos
Comtestclient Utility
Connect Example 1
Connect Example 2
Httptest Utility
Intertask1
Intertask2
Jigfall
Minesweeper
Query_Tool
Resources
Command Window
Config
Network Utility
Uninstall Loadnrun 6.2
You may use the Launcher shortcut to start the Loadnrun Simple Launcher demo application.
To test the Loadnrun Client or Server
1. Open a command window and enter the following command:
set II_LOADNRUN62
Four environment variables should be displayed:
II_LOADNRUN62_CMD=C:\Program Files (x86)\Actian\OpenROAD\Loadnrun62\bin\Loadnrun62.bat
II_LOADNRUN62_GATEWAY=http://hostname/openroad/
II_LOADNRUN62_ROOT=C:\Program Files (x86)\Actian\OpenROAD\Loadnrun62\
II_LOADNRUN62_W4GLAPPS_DIR=C:\Program Files (x86)\Actian\OpenROAD\Loadnrun62\bin\
Note:  If any of these environment variables are not defined, reboot your system. Afterward, these variables will appear.
2. When all four environment variables from the previous step appear in the command window, enter the following command:
"%II_LOADNRUN62_CMD%"
When you press Enter, the following output is displayed:
USAGE:  "%II_LOADNRUN62_CMD%" APPNAME %II_LOADNRUN62_GATEWAY% SUFFIX
        "%II_LOADNRUN62_CMD%" /listcache  [HOSTNAME [HOSTSUFFIX] ]
        "%II_LOADNRUN62_CMD%" /listrun    [HOSTNAME [HOSTSUFFIX] ]
        "%II_LOADNRUN62_CMD%" /clearcache [HOSTNAME [HOSTSUFFIX] ]
"%II_LOADNRUN62_CMD%" /environment [HOSTNAME [HOSTSUFFIX] ]
        "%II_LOADNRUN62_CMD%" /?
        "%II_LOADNRUN62_CMD%" /help
