Default Included Application
Workbench provides one included system application for each application that you create—the core application library. This default included application contains frame templates you can use as the starting point for frames you create.
Even though the core application is not listed in the Included Applications portlet (Develop tab), its components are available to all applications. For example, when you create a new user frame, the core application library provides dialog_box, empty_frame, and menu templates as starting points. For a list of core templates, see Frame Templates.
The core application library also contains many predefined, general-purpose frame and field templates, and specialized functions. The templates are reusable application components encapsulating user classes, 4GL scripts, 4GL procedures, and menus that let you concentrate on assembling code, rather than coding application building blocks.
