At startup time, OpenROAD performs a default mapping of logical key names to physical keyboard keys. The default mapping can be overridden, however, by specifying a keyboard map file. A keyboard map file contains an alternative mapping of logical names to physical keyboard keys that may be more appropriate for your needs than the default mapping. The file %II_SYSTEM%\ingres\files\default.kbd reflects the internal default keyboard mapping if the file is unchanged since OpenROAD installation.
