Terminal Monitor
You use a terminal monitor to interactively enter, edit, and execute individual queries or files containing queries. Terminal monitors also allow operating system level commands to be executed.
To display characters correctly, character-based utilities like Terminal Monitor must use the correct code page setting:
Windows: Run the Terminal Monitor under the supplied Vector command prompt, which has the correct code page and font settings.
Linux: Set the character set using the II_CHARSET environment variable.
