You can monitor you Vector AMI installation with the Actian Enterprise Monitoring Appliance (EMA). EMA is a separately download, single-interface monitoring environment based on Nagios.

You can configure EMA to monitor and display a significant number of database, operating system, network data points, and so on. EMA can proactively monitor multiple servers, installations, and databases around the clock, providing early warnings and alerts so you can quickly resolve problems or prevent them from occurring.

EMA also includes a performance module to quickly identify problems that can help maximize system efficiency. A data repository within EMA facilitates fault investigation, capacity planning, retrospective analysis, and SLA reporting. Monitored installations must be in the same VPC as EMA.
