Java Requirement for Management Server
The Management Server used by Actian Director requires a 64-bit Java Runtime Environment (JRE). The Vector distribution includes OpenJDK to meet this requirement. The installer prompts you to accept the JRE license; accepting the license is required to successfully install Vector.
After installation, the JRE to be used can be specified on the Vector environment variable II_MTS_JAVA_HOME; if not set, the OpenJDK bundled with Vector is used. For the JRE version required, see the Readme.
