Actian SQL CLI
Introduction to the SQL CLI
The SQL CLI is a terminal monitor you may use to interactively enter, edit, and execute individual queries or files containing queries. The SQL CLI also allows operating system-level commands to be executed.
To display characters correctly, character-based terminal monitor utilities such as the SQL CLI must use the correct code page setting: set the character set using the II_CHARSET environment variable.
Note:  All examples in this section use the Actian SQL CLI, installed with the required Avalanche Client Runtime Package.
