Actian DataConnect templates enable a consistent, rapid development approach so that you can quickly on-board new customers, adapt new data feeds, or scale design time more efficiently.

Templates are pre-built, reusable process workflows that can be run "as is" by providing configurable inputs at runtime (see Using Design Templates).

Actian provides a set of basic templates out-of-the-box. However, you can create your own templates by following the best practices provided in this topic (see Develop Your Templates).
