Creating and Modifying Login Information for Server Connection Definitions
You create new or modify existing logins for advanced Server Connection Definitions using the
Login dialog (see
Login Dialog).
Before you can create a new login for an existing Server Connection Definition:
• An Actian database installation must be currently connected.
• The Logins folder of the Server Connection Definition must be selected in the Instance Explorer.
Before you can modify an existing login for a Server Connection Definition:
• An Actian database installation must be currently connected.
• The Login node of the Server Connection Definition must be selected in the Instance Explorer.
