Execute a Query
After you select the output format for query results (see Specify Output Format for Query Results), you may execute the query contained in the active query statement, open in the Multiple Document Interface.
Note:  If your query uses Ingres Terminal Monitor options such as \p, \g, \q, \d, \t, \r, \continue, or \nocontinue (the only supported flags), it will batch the query statements until it encounters a \g. If it does not use these options, statements will be executed at each semi-colon (;). For more information, see the Ingres Command Reference Guide, “Terminal Monitor Command Summary.”
For a description of the fields in the status bar, see Query Status Bar Fields.
To cancel a running query, see Cancel a Running Query.
