Delete a Rule
Before you can delete a rule, the Ingres installation containing the database must be connected in the Instance Explorer (see Connect to an Actian Database Instance).
To delete a rule
1. In the Instance Explorer, expand the database and table that contains the rule.
2. Under the expanded table node, open the Rules folder, right-click on the rule you want to delete, and select Delete from the context menu.
The Delete Rule dialog opens.
3. Click OK.
The rule is deleted and removed from the Rules folder.
