Gateway parameters are specified and changed using the Configuration-By-Forms (CBF) utility, or the GUI-based Configuration Manager (VCBF) tool (Windows only). Default values for these parameters are set when the gateway is first installed. If parameters need to be modified in a script file, the iigetres and iisetres utilities should be used. If using iisetres to update parameters, it is a good practice to make a backup of the config.dat file.
