Gateway Alias Configuration
When you request a gateway to connect to a specific DBMS, information is required to facilitate that connection. The gateway uses a gateway alias to specify the connection information necessary to access a target DBMS. The gateway alias provides the server class, host database name, username, and password used for the connection. For example, to use the SQL command to access an Oracle database represented by gateway alias oracledb, enter the following command:
sql oracledb/oracle
