Required Software
Install the Data Provider into the Toolbox
Start the Ingres Data Adapter Configuration Wizard
Configure a Connection
Design a Query
Required Software
The following software is required to connect to Ingres from .NET:
• Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework
• Ingres .NET Data Provider 2.1
• (Optional) An interactive development environment such as Microsoft Visual Studio.
Refer to the Ingres readme for Visual Studio versions supported by the .NET Data Provider.
