Report-By-Forms (RBF)
Report-By-Forms (RBF) is a forms-based interface for creating and producing reports from an Ingres database.
Using RBF, you can:
• Produce a report immediately with the Preview operation
• Create, edit, and save report specifications that you can use repeatedly to produce reports at any time
You can also create report specifications with Report-Writer, a command language release of RBF. With Report-Writer, you can produce more complex reports than you can with RBF, including conditional expressions, break control, and complex queries.
